Program Supervisor (2 positions) Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development

Bergen Community College is seeking two Program Supervisors to manage all aspects of program development, staffing, promotional materials, marketing, instructional quality and student relations on behalf of the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development.  One position will oversee management and administration of the Institute for Learning in Retirement and all Kids and Teens programming including Summer Middle/High School and summer programs. The other position will be a generalist Program Supervisor who will oversee a variety of Continuing Education Programming.  Duties include planning, scheduling, and monitoring of these programs and other events.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to oversight, management and administration of various programs; cultivating relationships with public and private entities, profit and non-profit agencies, as well as, professional organizations involved in occupational and personal and professional development; researching, evaluating and recommending programs, courses and activities for development; managing all aspects of program development, including budget, staffing, supervision of instructors, promotional materials, marketing, instructional quality and student relations; preparing close-out audits for course offerings and completing financial and programmatic reports to co-sponsoring and collaborating agencies; assisting with the assessment of community needs and making recommendations for educational and learning programs designed to address them; identifying and developing non-credit educational courses and certificate programs and implementation of programs; preparing, distributing submissions of payrolls for instructors; recommending and ordering textbooks and related instructional materials and equipment; preparing, distributing, collecting and assessing course evaluations and learning outcomes; preparing schedules for courses, workshops, seminars and other non-credit events; conducting orientations, workshops, seminars and meetings to promote Continuing Education and professional development programs and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:
BA/BS degree required; Master’s degree preferred.  Experience and demonstrated achievement in developing, implementing and assessing educational programs required.  Experience in a post K-12 educational programs in a community college environment desirable.  Background in Adult, Continuing or Community Education preferred.  Working proficiency in various CRM software products, reporting tools, and web-based marketing. Experience with budgets and financial reporting required and must have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Must have excellent customer service skills, superior presentation and analytical skills plus exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.  Demonstrated ability to multi-task and ability to work under deadline pressure.  Detail oriented, self-starter with ability to work independently and as a team.  Must be able to work with a diverse, multi-generational population.  Must have private transportation and ability to work a varied schedule, including the ability and willingness to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
