Bergen Community College is seeking a Program Supervisor to manage all aspects of program development, staffing, promotional materials, marketing, instructional quality and student relations on behalf of the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. Responsibilities include planning, marketing, scheduling and monitoring of programs and events as well as conducting orientations, workshops, seminars and meetings to promote Continuing Education and professional development programs; establishing communication and cultivating relationships with public and private entities, profit and non-profit agencies, as well as, professional organizations involved in occupational and personal and professional development; researching, evaluating and recommending programs, courses and activities for development; identifying and developing non-credit educational courses and certificate programs and implementation of programs; coordinates co-sponsored programs, projects and activities with the academic division of the College, professional associations, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations; preparing payroll for instructors; preparing close-out audits for course offerings and completion of financial and programmatic reports to co-sponsoring and collaborating agencies where appropriate; assessing course evaluations and learning outcomes as well as evaluating courses, instructors and instructional materials; recommending and ordering textbooks and related instructional materials; assisting with the assessment of community needs and making recommendations for educational and learning programs designed to address them; and other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred. Must have two – three years’ experience with post K-12 educational programming, preferably in Adult, Continuing or Community Education; experience in a community college environment desirable; demonstrated achievement in developing, implementing and assessing educational programs required. Must have working proficiency in various CRM software products, reporting tools, and web-based marketing as well as experience with budgets and financial reporting required; must be technologically proficient in common office desktop software and be detail-oriented. Must have excellent customer service skills, superior presentation and analytical skills plus exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently and as a team. Must be able to work with a diverse, multi-generational population. Must have private transportation and ability to work a varied schedule, including the ability and willingness to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
